VitalCog: Suicide Prevention in the Workplace

Nov 20, 2024

Event Time: (10:00-12:00)

Class # 044

Virtual Event (Zoom)

VitalCog trains organizations to proactively address the early warning signs of suicide in the workplace. Just as organizations have realized they can help reduce heart disease by encouraging exercise, they can also reduce suicide by promoting mental health and encouraging early identification and intervention. This training will educate and equip businesses with tools to address mental health and suicide concerns within the workplace.

  • The Problem: Suicide rates are highest among working-age adults.
  • The Solution: You. By understanding and engaging in suicide prevention.
  • Goals: To promote critical thinking about suicide prevention. To open dialogue about mental health. To promote help-seeking and help-giving behaviors.

This training is 2 hours long and includes videos, group discussions/exercises, and roleplays to create a better understanding of your role in suicide prevention.
